ENCOUNTER CHRIST

As we begin this new liturgical year and this season of Advent, we are reminded of the ways in which we still turn away from God and remain imperfect and unclean. Jesus calls us to prepare now. He tells us that we need to always be ready for when we must answer to God’s judgment--the judgment we learned of last week at the feast of Christ the King. Let us turn to his mercy and grace and recommit today to the work of being ready for God whenever he comes.
