We become conformed to the image of Jesus when we, like Solomon, ask for an understanding heart; his greatest desire was to know and do God’s will. The kingdom of heaven is present wherever God’s will reigns, not ours. When we live in God’s love, we see the world in a new way. We’re called to surrender and accept the work God continues to do within us to open our hearts, eyes, and ears to bring about the Kingdom of God. God’s Kingdom is about relationships--with God and with each other. Have I risked everything in pursuit of the Kingdom of God?
