In the Gospel today, Jesus simply asks us who did the will of the Father. To do the will of the Father requires humility and surrender. As we empty ourselves, we create space for God to enter and dwell within our hearts. Intimacy (into me see) requires a space of vulnerability, one we create and invite God and others into. Here he teaches and guides us in his way: to seek a life of intimacy with him and to live our lives in self-sacrifice for the good of others.
