Feb. '19 Additional Resources

by Equip Team

Feb 18, 2019

This month for EQUIP Families for Lesson 8, you will be exploring the Paschal Mystery; learning what it means that Jesus descended into hell and that on the third day He rose again from the dead. In Lesson 9, You will discover that although Christ reigns now in Heaven, He also reigns here on earth through the Church, His Body. His Kingdom is present and yet to come. The Church looks forward to the Second Coming of Christ with great hope and anticipation. We do not know the hour of His return, nor can we know it; but we do need to be ready!

Each month, we were to memorize the Apostles’ Creed little-by-little. In the month of February, we are to memorize up to the following portion of the Creed:

“I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God, the Father almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead.”
